Rating by category:
It is dirty and roaches infested. I think the Franchise needs to review its contracts/franchise because there is no value for money. I was deeply disappointed with the services received and nothing for comfort. If there is any rating to be given it is below 3 and it should be closed down.
Nothing, the place was a dive and outdated. It was truly disgusting and they were charging 300.00 a night because it was a football week-end. I wish I would have taken pictures. I cancelled after the first night.
physical condition of lobby and rooms was terrible. moldy shower, thin bath towels, limited hair care products
Price was good and location was excellent. Very near where we needed to be. Staff was very nice.
I had forgotten a razor and while there was a sign in our room to contact the front desk if we had forgotten anything, the front desk did not have a razor. Not a huge deal, but....
Condition of the motel was poor. Facilities were old, grimy, dirty and in disrepair.
The location was good. The staff was helpful and nice.
The hotel is run down in my opinion. It seemed dirty. The carpets were stained. There was dried vomit on the 2nd level outside by room 206-208. My kids said they did not feel safe with some of the quest out around the pool on saturday night. There was an odor in our room of some kind. Bottom line: The hotel needs updating and overhauling.
They said they didn't have any rooms for the price that I had paid online and upgraded my room for a higher price. The so called family suite was the worst room that I have ever seen. The furniture had cigarette burns on the chair and sofa. Every single piece of furniture had large stains on them and the towels in the bathroom had brown stains on them. We complained about the room and the manager said they now had double rooms available if I wanted one of those rooms. We moved to another room and it was okay. The staff is very rude and the hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and we stay in a lot of hotels traveling for baseball.
Absolutel a rip off - just because it is near Auburn university and the hotel just next to it - really outstanding is always full. So they decide to charge the same price. This is probably the worst hotel I have ever been in in my 40 years of globe travelling - terrible breakfast, rooms have poor lightening, awful bathroom. dirty - beds are so uncomfortable - you can not sleep in them - I slept in the chair and thenm moved into my SUV as the air cond wasnt working and the heat - it was in the 80´s would recommend this hotel to my worst enemy and to whom recommended it to me
Outside was unclean, Inside was nice.
Location to Auburn University
The building itself was very dated as were the rooms. Rooms were also not clean. Doors did not close correctly leaving the guest feeling unsafe. Very disappointing knowing that this was a Day's Inn. Would have thought that their standards were higher. Parents room did not even have a phone.
The only thing I liked was the location. I was there for Auburn University's graduation and the hotel was right there.
The room was in terrible condition. Reeked of smoke (nonsmoking room). Carpets dirty, used linens on beds, & not made up properly. Used linens in bathroom! (Nasty!!!) Girl's ponytail holder in coffee maker, garbage in drawer, no paper/pen to write things down on. Mirror not clean. I was very uncomfortable in this room, I had to sleep on top of the bed and not get in it. I would have stayed somewhere else, but on graduation weekend at Auburn University, you have to take what you can get. It was awful!!! I paid $146.89 to stay for one night and couldn't even sleep there without feeling like I had bugs crawling on me! Very disappointed, will never stay at a Days Inn again! I complained to the attendant at check out and left my # for a manager to call, but have not heard anything from them.
Proximity to Auburn University Graduation Ceremony. Comfortable bed.
Wall outlets did not work. Bathroom light was out.
The exterior looks run down and seedy. I would not have picked this place except every other hotel in Auburn appeared to be sold out. Further, another guest and I had to wait outside for 20 minutes because the front desk clerk suddenly quit and the manager had to come in and check us in. Things improved after that. The manager gave us discounts for the inconvenience and the room turned out to be clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.
it was cheap and close to everything!
you could hear the toilets through the walls. a mini fridge would have been excellent
Walking distance to Auburn Campus. Great price! Friendly and helpful staff. We were allowed to leave our car all morning during our tour of Auburn.
The breakfast was really lacking. Could've used a few more muffins or bagels. But, it was free, so not really complaining.
